Mutton Bustin

Is your little cowboy or cowgirl ready to hold on tight?
Kids ages 4-7 (55 lbs or less) can sign up today to compete in one of the most exciting and crowd-cheering events at the Williamson County Fair and Rodeo.
Event Dates: October 23-25, 2025
Spots are limited (only 10 each night), so don't wait. Register your little rider today and let them be a part of the action.

Please note:
For the safety of the animal and the rider, we will weigh on site. No riders over 55 lbs. If you sign up and your rider exceeds this weight limit, you will have to forgo the event and will not receive a refund.
If you are late for check-in or unable to attend the event, you forfit your spot and your ticket will not be reimbursed.

$35 includes gate admission - 1 child (age 4-7, 55 lbs or less) and a spot in the 2025 Mutton Bustin competition.

Come learn and explore the history of agriculture in Williamson County. The Williamson County Texas A&M Agrilife Extension office (Home - Williamson)

bring a hands-on unique and interactive experience where you'll learn things like how your food gets from the farm to your table.

Swifty Swine Pig Races

If you have never been to a pig race, your in for a real treat.

Swifty and his friends don't do it for the money or the fame it's for the Oreo cookie at the finish line.

They run as fast as their little legs will take them and then it's back in for a nap until the next race.

Family Games

Enjoy games with your friends and family in our Family Game area. Ring toss, cornhole, connect four or chess.

It's also a great place to watch the talent on our community stage.
